Cocoon is a private app for two people. We are deeply committed to the safety of children and maintaining a platform free from child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
Zero tolerance policy
Cocoon has a zero tolerance policy for content that sexually exploits or abuses minors in any form, including but not limited to:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Grooming, solicitation, or sexual communication involving minors
- Any content that sexualises or endangers children
Accounts found to have generated, shared, or facilitated such content will be immediately and permanently suspended.
Prohibited content
The following content is strictly prohibited on Cocoon:
- Any sexual or exploitative content involving individuals under the age of 18
- Attempts to solicit or groom minors
- Sharing, distributing, or linking to CSAE material
How to report a concern
If you encounter content or behaviour that may involve child sexual abuse or exploitation, you can report it in two ways:
- In-app: Use the "Report a concern" option accessible from the app's settings (Us tab → Report a concern).
- By email: Send a detailed report to safety@raddiamond.com.
All reports are reviewed promptly. We take every report seriously regardless of the outcome.
Our response to reports
Upon receiving a credible report of CSAE:
- The reported account is immediately suspended pending investigation.
- All relevant content is removed and preserved for law enforcement.
- We report the incident to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline (cybertipline.org) as required under US law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A).
- We cooperate fully with local and national law enforcement agencies.
- If confirmed, the account is permanently terminated and all data is retained for legal proceedings.
Eligibility and age requirements
Cocoon is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly allow minors under 13 to use the service.
Legal compliance
Cocoon complies with all applicable child safety laws, including:
- The PROTECT Our Children Act (US)
- The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
- Applicable laws in the jurisdictions where our users reside
